Enjoy a peaceful evening meal in our restored Victorian Greenhouse with views over the garden. We aim to provide all your fruit & vegetables from our organically managed walled garden. Here we talk food metres not miles and from plant to plate in less than 2 hours you can't get much fresher than that! Menus change with the seasons but with over 50 varieties you shall not be disappointed! In 2011 we have introduced rare breed pigs and a hive of bees to The Old Rectory, to be joined this autumn with some rare breed sheep. Our own free range pork features in our menu and we also source lamb, ruby red beef, trout and mackerel from Boscastle and venison from Camelford. All dairy products are from Helsett Farms' organic Ayreshire herd, only 2 miles away. If you arrive late or want a lighter meal we provide a locally made pasty, potatoes and vegetables for £5. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free. We are not licensed so feel free to bring your own drinks.
